Westlake Zen
This project was a new build with a serious view in West Lake Hills. The property is full of beautiful trees and natural areas, a sloping hillside, and a peaceful, quiet energy. Our mission was to accentuate all of this with a clean and simple palette of native trees and shrubs.
We regraded the entire property to reduce erosion on the hillsides on either side of the house, and lightly cleaned up the wooded areas along the property lines. We added a new zoysia lawn wrapping around the house, and a new curved flower bed and custom poured front walkway shows off the front entry. The addition of 18 (!!) native trees to the property will add spring flowers, food, and habitat for pollinators and wildlife as they grow.
