Owner, Principal Designer

Lauren is passionate about bringing the benefits and beauty of nature to everyone. She has spent the past 15 years working in floral, houseplant, and landscape design. As a garden buyer and product designer, she traveled the world to visit inspiring gardens, makers and factories at the forefront of the industry.

Her goal with every project is to help her clients find success and happiness in their outdoor spaces by choosing plants that work for their lifestyle and environments, and by creating functional, low maintenance and engaging landscape designs that enrich their lives in ways they haven’t yet imagined.

About Oak Canopy

Oak Canopy was founded in 2018 out of a desire to inspire our clients to get out and enjoy the native beauty of the Austin area. We work hard to use organic and native materials in all of our projects, resulting in well-designed and beautiful landscapes that support and sustain our local environment. We design and build water-wise, creative outdoor living spaces that are low maintenance, drought tolerant and soul-fulfilling environments.

With a garden from Oak Canopy, we hope to inspire you to spend more quality time outdoors with friends and family in spaces that make you feel at home. Using native plants and solid design principles, we design a wide range of landscape styles to include woodlands, cottage, xeriscape and drought tolerant landscapes.

We take pride in our craft, developing relationships with our clients to meet their vision and delivering our services with the utmost integrity.  The result? Beautiful, timeless landscapes.
