Colorful Shade
This gorgeous home sits on a wooded lot surrounded by deep canyons. Over time, the tree cover paired with erosion caused the lawn to die out. This coupled with two big freezes and exterior renovations caused the rest of the plants in the front to die as well.
We accented the front of the house with all new plantings for part shade and shade, focusing on color and deer resistance. The result is a low maintenance and low stress garden that will change with the seasons. We regraded the lawn to help with drainage and then rehabbed the soil before adding in a new lawn. Along the driveway, a new flower bed welcomes guests and ties both sections of the property together into a cohesive green space.
